At Home Anywhere, 2025

I spent a year living on a canal boat. Cruising towards the cities, more & more debris would appear. Steering to avoid mattress springs and trolleys, I'd see ducks and moorhens nesting on piles of rubbish, surrounded by shiny, oily scum streaming across the water in the glowing late afternoon light. This quilt consists of a favourite blouse, my old hi-vis jacket, corduroy shirt, a few curtains, a tablecloth, a charity shop cushion cover & trousers, with some silver silky bits from my stash (originally second-hand too). The wadding is bamboo and it is quilted with second-hand cotton.
